I'm Byeong Gyun O and I'm majoring condensed matter physics experiment in Department of Physics and Astronomy, Seoul National University. My current research is on coupled nanomechanical shuttles. It is based on coupling of two charge shuttles through electron tunneling. And our group's one of main research topic is physical phenomena in nanomechanical system. So, I and my colleagues are researching and developing NEMS with nanowire and Opto-mechanical systems. For those researches, I already have ability to fabricate of mechanical systems in reduced dimensions and to detect resonant frequency of those structures with optical method. I think this conference will give me a good chance to study and research the quantum mechanical phenomena in nanomechanical structures.
